An Introduction to Positive Community Norms: What’s In Your Green Arrow?
January 26, 2023, Zoom
We hosted this dynamic and interactive virtual workshop to unpack how to increase youth health and safety by focusing on the norms we want to grow instead of the behaviors what we are trying to prevent. Jason Anderson of The Montana Institute reframed our prevention goals with the Science of the Positive.
Drug Take Back Day
We collected medications and gave out lock boxes!
You Can Campaign
(Youth Marijuana Prevention)
In 2022, we purchased 700 school and hygiene supplies to donate to local students in need. We attached You Can campaign messaging stickers with help from Good Health Nutrition Center. We also purchased school banners to spread the You Can message.
Red Ribbon Week
The Centralia Middle School Prevention Team planned Red Ribbon Week activites at their school. They also hung posters in Downtown Centralia. The City of Centralia hung our banner to celebrate too!
Drug Take Back Day
We collected 27 pounds of medications and gave out tons of lock boxes!
Earth Day Rock Painting
We had a rocking painting station during Kiddin’ Around’s Earth Day event! Over 100 kids stopped by to paint rocks!
Super Hero Fun Run
We partnered with Kiddin’ Around to host a fun run for kids and families. We had 75+ participants and raised $1,000 for the Centralia Athletics, Activities, and Facilities Foundation!
